5 Questions with Jeff Hansen
Our annual Signing Day event in late April was successful for a number of reasons. Not only did it once again give us the opportunity to highlight the importance of developing the next generation of skilled labor for our regional economy, it also generated significant awareness among the public regarding our chapter and its mission.
In fact, the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette reached out to us in June to feature our chapter as part of its weekly “5 Questions” segment, which features an interview with local leaders involved in important causes and organizations. It gives these leaders a unique and influential platform to better explain the inspiration and mission behind their organizations, as well as how they positively impact the broader community and region.
We were honored to have Jeff Hansen our NEINFAME chapter chair, and Vice President of Environmental Sustainability at Steel Dynamics, sit down and answer the Journal Gazette’s “5 Questions.” Jeff provided extensive background on our mission, how it benefits the region as a whole, and how our partner companies benefit from their involvement with the chapter.
